Jakiś czas temu mieliśmy przyjemność ogłosić konkurs na poprawienie cechy generałowi Josephowi E. Johnstonowi. Dziękujemy serdecznie wszystkim graczom, którzy złożyli swoje propozycje. Wybór wcale nie był łatwy, musieliśmy też zważać na ogólny balans.
Ostatecznie zdecydowaliśmy, iż generał Johnston zachowa swoją dotychczasową cechę, czyli trudniej będzie atakować ALE granica, którą mogą przejść jego jednostki w ramach rozkazu obrona będzie zwiększona do 6 cali (zamiast standardowych 3). Da mu to większą manewrowość z rozkazem obrona.
Najbliżej tej propozycji był Krystian Bednarczyk, który zaproponował zwiększenie zasięgu ruchu jednostek, którymi dowodzi z rozkazem marsz. Rozważaliśmy tę opcję, także w wersji ograniczonej tylko do piechoty i artylerii, ale jednak byłaby ona za mocna. Stąd ta zmiana tej propozycji.
Żeby nie było, że przyznamy nagrodę samym sobie, gratulujemy Krystianowi 🙂
W nagrodę za najciekawszą propozycję mieliśmy wielką przyjemność wręczyć Krystianowi zasłużoną nagrodę – pomalowaną przez Nutka maluje podstawę wodza naczelnego dla Konfederatów, domyślnie oczywiście generała Johnstona.

Some time ago we were pleased to announce a competition to improve the character traits of General Joseph E. Johnston. Thank you to all players who made their offers. The choice was not easy at all, we also had to pay attention to the overall game balance.
In the end, we decided that General Johnston would retain his traits,  BUT the border that his units can go with the order of defense will be increased to 6 inches (instead of the standard 3). It will give him more maneuverability with the order of defense.
The closest to this proposal was Krystian Bednarczyk, who proposed increasing the range of movement of units, which he commands with the order of marching. We considered this option, also in a version restricted only to infantry and artillery, but it would be too strong. Hence the change of this proposal.

As a reward for the most interesting proposition, we had the great pleasure of giving Krystian the well-deserved prize – painted by Nutka Paints the base of the commander-in-chief for the Confederates, by default, of course, General Johnston.
