This long-awaited supplement (announced back during the Kickstarter campaign) introduces all the rules and units of the French army from the years 1854\u20131859<\/strong>, covering the Crimean War<\/strong> and the Second Italian War of Independence<\/strong>. It features chapters providing a historical overview of this army, discussing the evolution of French infantry, cavalry, and artillery<\/strong>, general and detailed rules (including available units and their special abilities) for both French forces introduced in this supplement \u2013 the Army of the Orient<\/strong>, which fought in the Crimean War, and the Army in Italy<\/strong>, which took part in the 1859 campaign in northern Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You’ll also find cavalry tactics and \u2013 most importantly \u2013 a few new rules for the main game itself!<\/strong> This includes the „Independent Division Commander” trait, as well as rules for mountain artillery<\/strong> and heavy artillery<\/strong>.
