What&#8217;s next?<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/nav><\/div>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_start\"><\/span>How to start?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>All sets for Gods of War: Togo can be purchased on the website of our publisher and distributor &#8211; the Bolter.pl store. <strong>LINK<\/strong>, and in some cooperating stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To get started with the game, we have <strong>three different options:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Purchase of a two-person starter.<\/strong> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/bolter.pl\/pl\/p\/BW-Togo-Russo-Japanese-War-1904-1905-Starter-Set\/20629\" target=\"_blank\">LINK<\/a>. At the moment there is a Japanese-Russian starter available, but others will appear as well (it&#8217;s worth checking the Bolter website). <strong>WARNING.<\/strong> For the time beeing a rulebook is in proces of translation into English, so <strong>a two person starter<\/strong> <strong>has a Polish language rulebook.<\/strong> Please wait till mid 2023 for a premiere of English version of the rulebook.<br>This starter contains:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Rulebook<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>models of ships for the Japanese fleet<\/strong> in 1:1200 scale: battleship Mikasa, armored cruiser Kasuga\/Nisshin, 4 Hayabusa torpedo boats (we put them 2 on each base).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ship models<\/strong> <strong>for the Russian fleet<\/strong> in 1:1200 scale: Borodino-class battleship, Admiral Ushakov-class coastal defense battleship, 4 Bujnyj-class destroyers (we put them 2 on each base).<br>These ships are enough to create a list for $1000 ($ is used as points in the game). We create schedules in the fleet creator: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gmboardgames.com\/togo\/ab\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\">LINK<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>cards<\/strong> for these ships. Some of them (Kasuga\/Nisshin, Admiral Ushakov\/Admiral Apraksin) can be configured in two different ways &#8211; depending on what artillery turrets you place on them. Turrets for both configurations are available in the kit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>protective sleeves<\/strong> for these cards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>gunnery tables<\/strong> (to check how on which roll we hit the enemy).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>HDF bases<\/strong> for these ships. Information about which ship should be placed on which base can be found here: RUSSIAN FLEET, JAPANESE FLEET, AMERICAN FLEET, SPANISH FLEET. There are also assembly instructions, such as how to place artillery towers or boats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>a set of command dials<\/strong> for ships (8 A orders and 8 B orders).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>special speed and turn rulers<\/strong> &#8211; for two players (i.e. two speed rulers, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>a set of markers<\/strong> for marking damage, e.g. fires, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>20 d6 <strong>dice<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Is that all I need to play? Practically yes. <strong>In addition<\/strong>, you will also need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tape<\/strong> for measuring the distance of shots (in inches).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>something to <strong>mark damage\/destruction on ships<\/strong>. This can be done, for example, with a black marker (that&#8217;s why the ship cards are in sleeves), but also in another way, as long as it is legible for the player and the opponent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a blue blanket or a special mat on which we will play our battles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>opponent for the game \ud83d\ude42<br>To assemble the ships, we will also need pliers or a scalpel, glue and paints. Purchase of a squadron and additional accessories.<\/strong> They are available on a special page with starters and accessories: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/bolter.pl\/pl\/c\/ZASADY%2C-STARTERY-i-AKCESORIA\/1788\" target=\"_blank\">LINK<\/a>. It allows you to assemble a fleet for about $1500 (points).<br>Starter packs contain ships (other than in a two-player starter), ship cards and ship covers, bases, and a set of commands. <strong>The squadron is the perfect option to expand our fleet after purchasing a two-person starter<\/strong>. Individual sets contain the model, its base, ship card and protective sleeve. So we need to add to it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>rulebook (along with artillery tables that are attached to it).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>speed and turn rulers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a set of markters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>command dials. Typically, we won&#8217;t need preorders for every model we have, we&#8217;ll only be using part of our collection to play.
